The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Injection Tooling Manager to join our EMEA Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing common technical standards for moulds across the region.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing common technical and manufacturing standards for mould design and injection moulding;
- Leading and developing mould design centres of excellence within the units across the EMEA region;
- Collaborating with procurement teams to develop strategic relationships with key suppliers;
- Developing processes that integrate new product development with product introduction;
- Ensuring manufacturing cost targets are set and met;
- Developing competences of mould engineering teams;
- Responsibility for mould engineering teams in local units.
You will be responsible for ensuring that local mould engineering activities and processes are integrated with local engineering processes.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A technical background in tool design for the plastic industry;
- An education in mechanical engineering or a related field;
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills;
- Experience working in complex international and multi-stakeholder environments;
- Ability to lead multi-functional projects with varying complexity and priority.
