Supply Chain Analyst

British American Tobacco Iberia is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Madrid.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by accurately forecasting demand for our products.

You will work closely with the Demand Planning Manager and other team members to ensure demand forecasting accuracy and provide insights into industry and competitor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and submit critical information through various data sources
  • Track and analyze industry performance
  • Create logistics shipment plan aligned with monthly forecast to ensure availability of goods in the market
  • Support the team in monthly planning cycle and above-market reporting
  • Engage with end market functions to ensure demand forecasting accuracy
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or relevant field
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in sales/demand planning/forecasting role in FMCGs business
  • Experience in prioritizing tasks, managing workload, and working under pressure
  • Understanding of sales/demand planning practices and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work and cooperate with a variety of departments
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
