About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative for Chromatography solutions in the Italian market.
Main Responsibilities
- Meet sales objectives by driving inside and online sales opportunities for specific products defined.
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end-user contacts within assigned territory and/or products.
- Handle your own sales funnel using your own initiative to identify business opportunities by taking a creative approach.
- Actively generate business opportunities for growth and represent Agilent in all sales activities working with the field staff.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and internal resources.
- Solve non-routine issues and problems within the field of specialization and create and maintain effective customer relationships.
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
- University degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology...).
- First experience with analytical techniques like chromatography (GC, LC, GC/MS, LC/MS, HPLC) and/or spectroscopy (Atomic & Molecular), either in a similar sales position or as an end-user.
- Knowledge of/experience with laboratory informatics systems such as CDS, Data Management Systems, ELN or LIMS is a plus.
- Experience in sales would be a strong advantage.
- Full proficiency in both Italian and English.
