YOUR TASK

  • Oversee the operational performance of blade suppliers, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead a team of In Process & Product Quality Inspectors, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Drive First Time Right (FTR) initiatives, control defects, reduce cycle time, and engage suppliers in quality improvement plans.
  • Manage costs and implement improvement strategies.
  • Resolve customer complaints with suppliers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain daily interactions with Nordex Local and Global blades functions.
  • Report directly to Blades Operations 3rd Party responsible.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Hold a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Possess expertise in composite manufacturing processes, preferably in blades.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing people.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have knowledge in quality management, including APQP4Wind, 8D, Quality Tools, FMEA, and Control plans.
  • Embody a strong quality mindset, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Be available for international travel, approximately 5% of the time.
  • Speak and write fluently in English, Arabic, and/or French.
