We are seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at A.P. Moller - Maersk. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in driving optimization of procurement spend across Maersk Group brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for FCL & FTL procurement across Maersk Group brands, driving optimization of procurement spend.
  • Assist in driving optimal pricing structure for land transportation (zones/post codes/distance) and capture data in aligned format with global practice.
  • Work closely with Commercial departments to develop logistic solutions, support business growth, and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Manage vendor relationships, perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis, and ensure compliance with Maersk internal policies and procurement guidelines.
  • Lead and manage projects, teams, and vendor relationships, drive sustainable and profitable growth, and develop Total Value Ownership models in collaboration with Product & Pricing.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in similar positions that required negotiation skills and working closely with land transportation employees and vendors.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills.
  • Intermediate English (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
