Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time EHS Site Manager in Madrid to join our team. As an experienced health and safety professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing, performing, and ensuring the implementation of health and safety activities in projects;
- Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project life cycle;
- Driving the implementation of EHS policy on the field according to Alstom guidelines and targets;
- Preparing local yearly EHS plans consistent with Alstom strategy and objectives;
- Mobilizing and coordinating with others to meet those objectives and deploy the plan;
- Monitoring the right deployment of the plan;
- Ensuring EHS Risk Assessment is done and appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the site;
- Preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans at site level;
- Making sure activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS;
- Leading the EHS function on the site as a member of the own prevention service;
- Conducting induction programs for new EHS personnel on the site;
- Involving social and medical partners and communicating with them about EHS;
- Developing Site EHS Management System;
- Deploying and maintaining local procedures and tools applicable to the site specific for EHS Management System;
- Ensuring that Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment, Transport Key processes) are deployed at site level.
EHS Compliance: Monitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements & propose actions to correct any gap.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is around €60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
