**Lead Communications and Culture at Lonza**

The Head of Communication, Culture and Engagement will oversee all communications efforts at our Porriño Manufacturing Site. This role will play a key part in shaping internal and external communications strategies to enhance our brand, engage employees, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to inform, engage, and motivate employees.
  • Manage and produce content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and announcements.
  • Organize and facilitate employee meetings, town halls, and other internal events.
  • Work closely with Site Leadership Team to support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and execute external communication strategies to promote the manufacturing site's achievements, initiatives, and corporate social responsibility efforts.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the site, handling media inquiries and coordinating interviews.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local media, community leaders, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials related to the site.
  • Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan.
  • Act as the lead communicator during crisis situations, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
  • Train and prepare site leadership on crisis communication protocols.
  • Manage the site's digital presence, including website updates and social media channels.
  • Create engaging content for digital platforms to promote site activities and achievements.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital communications, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to build positive relationships with local communities.
  • Represent the company at community events and meetings.
