Network Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support our data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite, network device administration and troubleshooting, as well as experience with Cisco ACI, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, MPBGP, HSRP, VRRP, OSPF, ISIS, VLAN, VRF technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Engineering - Provide technical support during and after project implementation.
- Incident Management - Manage L3 incident escalation beyond help desk and Tier 2 support.
- Change Management - Support change planning and execution.
- Problem Management - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
- Performance & Capacity Management - Monitor network performance and capacity against SLA targets.
- Monitoring / Observability - Respond to alerts and tickets.
- Release & Lifecycle Management - Perform software/hardware upgrades.
- Knowledge Management - Maintain documentation and contribute to internal knowledge base.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-6 years of data center network infrastructure experience.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices.
- Experience supporting switching & routing fabrics, firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Strong knowledge of vendor network OS (e.g., IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, eOS).
- Strong knowledge of data center network technologies (Cisco ACI, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, MPBGP, HSRP, VRRP, OSPF, ISIS, VLAN, VRF).
- Experience with network automation (Ansible, Python, scripting languages).
- Experience with GitHub, Grafana, Prometheus.
Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodology.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and in teams.
- Strong communication skills in English.
