At SAP, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cloud Architect & Advisor to join our Enterprise Cloud Services organization in EMEA. As a key member of our Cloud Architecture and Engineering Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing the technological foundations of customers' success on their cloud journey under RISE with SAP.
This is a customer-facing role where you'll team up with different SAP teams and other parties along customers' cloud journey under RISE with SAP from the presales phase. Your key tasks will include:
- Presenting technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering to CIOs, IT managers, data center managers, and SAP Technology staff.
- Conducting technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and/or SAP Professional Services.
- Guiding customers on non-functional capabilities such as Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
- Supporting account stakeholders on pricing-related activities and offers creation, providing ongoing deal support to sales teams.
- Orchestrating experts to obtain expertise from the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services delivery organization as required.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from an accredited university or other Engineering degrees.
- High proficiency in customer-level communications and presentations.
- High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
- A good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.).
- A good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
- A good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.).
- A good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one Hyperscale provider (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP).
- Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects.
- Fluency in English is a MUST, and any other language is an asset.
