Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS services and software engineering best practices to design, develop, and maintain innovative cloud-based solutions. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure applications that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect cloud-native applications and services using AWS.
  • Develop scalable, resilient, and secure architecture solutions.
  • Define and implement best practices for cloud adoption and migration.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain microservices and serverless applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
  • Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Lead technical discussions and provide expert guidance to development teams.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their technical skills.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentoring junior engineers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS services.
