Make a Difference in Military Healthcare

The Leidos team is seeking a skilled TRICARE Beneficiary Service Representative to provide critical support to our Active-Duty Military and their families. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in educating and enrolling beneficiaries in the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify benefits eligibility and process enrollments, disenrollments, and portability transfers using the Defense Online Enrollment System (DOES) and other systems.
  • Register TRICARE beneficiaries in the Composite Health Care System (CHCS).
  • Resolve enrollment discrepancies between systems and run weekly reports.
  • Perform individual and batch Primary Care Manager (PCM) changes, following MTF guidelines.
  • Provide education on TRICARE resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries over the phone and in person.
  • Collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information to support the TRICARE active-duty portability/disenrollment process.
  • Conduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, and others.
  • Provide basic claims support, including information on claims status.
  • Collect and record Other Health Information (OHI) into applicable systems.
  • Determine appropriate assistance levels and forward calls or refer as needed to address beneficiary questions.
  • Collect and report information on daily activities performed.
  • Complete all required HIPAA, Leidos, and other training and refresher courses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Provide remote support to Leidos BSRs at other sites.
  • Adhere to a business casual dress code.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member or DoD employee.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Eligibility for and maintenance of ADP II/IT II clearance.
  • Three years' cumulative experience in U.S. military healthcare delivery systems or civilian managed care medical/administrative environments, with experience in a medical or clinical environment, CHCS or civilian healthcare computer systems, and medical claims processing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of TRICARE Overseas programs, DEERS, DOES, and CHCS.
