Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Barcelona Activa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing the mechanics of medical devices, adapting electronic circuits and components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop devices through the complete product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop medical device mechanics, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with hardware designers, testers, biomedical engineers, and firmware and hardware engineers to develop devices.
- Prepare formal and informal engineering documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
- Assist in the testing of prototypes in healthy volunteer studies and clinical trials.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in medical device design and development.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D mechanical design software, including Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of certifications, such as EMC and ES for CE mark.
- Experience with medical device prototypes development, production, and testing.
