As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team, you will leverage metrics to identify cost-out opportunities by linking up operations and financials. You will understand the details of the cost structure to make thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience in tax, finance, or a related analytical fieldExperience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analysesExperience in creating process improvements with automation and analysisExperience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes
What You'll Do:
Build trusted partnerships with the business to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions promoting business improvements and cost reductions. Communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps. Identify opportunities and lead projects to streamline processes and reports. Supervise and own the financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging operational plan. Supervise and own all month-end procedures including accruals and variance analysis between scenarios (actuals, Plan, Forecast). Hire, develop and mentor peers and team members, while promoting knowledge-sharing.
