About the Position:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing the implementation, delivery, and optimization of online advertising campaigns for existing customers. This role requires close collaboration with the Strategic Partnership Manager team to drive results for clients while maximizing revenue for Softonic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing campaign implementation, monitoring success, and addressing potential risks.
- Manage client expectations and satisfaction by asking the right questions and addressing concerns promptly.
- Track and analyze sales metrics for each campaign, assisting the Strategic Partnership Manager team in meeting sales objectives.
- Work with existing clients to identify opportunities for revenue growth and support the Strategic Partnership Manager in maximizing these opportunities.
- Evaluate Softonic inventory opportunities and collaborate with the Strategic Partnership Manager on retention and up-selling strategies.
- Gather necessary assets from clients and ensure they are processed and submitted to the Ad Operations team according to internal procedures.
- Maintain alignment with the Ad Ops team, effectively communicating any updates, changes, or optimizations required to ensure the campaign meets performance expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Catalog and Compliance, Editorial, and Sales Ops, to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Prepare end-of-campaign presentations, identify renewal opportunities, and present them to the Strategic Partnership Manager and clients.
- Manage reporting tasks according to the specific needs of each client, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle administrative responsibilities, such as invoicing, scheduling calls, and ensuring all agreements are up-to-date.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on generating business in online advertising.
- Proven experience working in digital advertising.
- Established contacts within the Online Advertising market.
- Strong understanding of campaign budget tracking, with the ability to clearly present delivery metrics and suggest budget reallocation strategies when necessary.
- Strong business acumen with a passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is a must, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive in identifying problems and opportunities, providing solutions that align with sales and company goals.
- Capable of working independently with a strong sense of initiative.
- A team player who collaborates well with others, fostering a positive working environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with programmatic platforms (SSPs, Ad Exchanges) such as Rubicon, Pubmatic, Liverail, AdSense or Ad Exchange.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Google Analytics.
- Degree in advertising/marketing.
- Preferred qualifications: Experience in Google Ad Manager and Programmatic buying would be valued.
