About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) Engineer to join our team at Holtec International. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing the next generation of nuclear power plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of probabilistic safety analysis evaluations for our SMR-300 plant throughout its design and construction phases.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and analysts in a dynamic development environment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our nuclear power plants.
- Participate in the daily activities of our multinational PSA team, ensuring continued technical communication and information exchange between various task leaders.
- Engage in requirements development, detailed development, engineering analysis, and technical documentation to support the development of our nuclear power plants.
Requirements:
- Experience in event tree and fault tree modeling methods.
- Familiarity with the CAFTA suite of computer codes.
- Capability of performing system level and plant level quantification, uncertainty analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Experience with cut set reviews, Internal Flood PSA development, Low Power and Shutdown PSA development, Fire PSA development, Seismic Margins analysis, High Winds or External Flood analysis is highly desirable.
