About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Compliance Senior Analyst to join our Direct Tax and Tax Transformation team at Nestlé SA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of local corporate Direct Tax returns and transitioning corporate tax compliance activities from local tax teams to our Tax Center of Competence in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review quarterly tax provisioning for assigned businesses and divisions.
  • Prepare and review tax account reconciliations and ensure that tax balances are well supported with working papers.
  • Finalize estimated tax computation for entities required to file an estimated chargeable income for tax payment purposes.
  • Finalize draft tax computation for entities in accordance with local tax regulations as guided by the Local Corporate Tax team.
  • Finalize and book tax balance sheets for local tax purposes; finalize deferred tax in coordination with country corporate tax teams; coordinate with local tax teams to finalize 'Return-to-Provision' true-ups.
  • Finalize information required to draft statutory and tax disclosures.
  • Prepare, finalize, and manage the 'Tax Compliance' calendar in coordination with local tax teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé standards, updated standard routines, and adherence to CBP (Control Best Practices).
  • Conduct tax research in international tax relevant documentation (e.g., double tax treaties) in support of tax compliance.
  • Support the local Tax team in case of CIT audit and support the Centre on ad-hoc projects.
  • Ensure proper quality and timeliness of activities performed from other sites and smooth operations recovery for BCP level 1, proper supporting Manager and BCP Coordinator.
  • Ensure the availability of updated Standard Routines due to legal or process changes.
Requirements
  • Professionally qualified CPA / ACCA.
  • 4/5 years of experience in-house and/or Big-4 or tax shared services or Centers of Competence with a focus on direct tax compliance and related reporting processes (i.e., preparation and/or review of income or other tax returns as well as financial statement tax provisions and related tax reporting).
  • Knowledge of technical aspects with a focus on corporate income taxation including transfer pricing, tax consolidations, financing, withholding taxes, and tax treaties.
  • Understanding of accounting principles i.e. IFRS, IAS.
  • Experienced with accounting systems; SAP is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and different jurisdictions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Inclined towards Continuous Improvement.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively to achieve aligned department objectives/functions/business.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English. Local language or other would be an added advantage.
