We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Architect to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our Platinion team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients unlock their digital potential and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams to develop superior digital and technology concepts and architecture solutions.
- Define technology strategies and architecture solutions to support our clients' business objectives.
- Develop and grow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily.
- Collaborate with our clients to design and implement cloud-native services, including serverless functions, container orchestration, and microservices architectures.
- Design and manage scalable, high-availability cloud architectures using major cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance policies to ensure cost management, security compliance, and resource optimization within the cloud environment.
- Between 5-10 years of experience in data strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting with a proven track record in leading IT implementation projects.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Mandatory).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in designing and managing scalable, high-availability cloud architectures using major cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.
- Skilled in the deployment and management of cloud-native services, including serverless functions, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.
- Experience with cloud security management, including identity and access management (IAM), security groups, and compliance policies.
- Data Systems Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud data services like Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and comprehensive knowledge of cloud-based database services such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud SQL.
- Expertise in cloud-based data integration and ETL tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Proficient in designing data replication and backup strategies across multiple regions for disaster recovery and high availability.
- Desirable Expertise: Experience in developing and enforcing cloud governance policies to ensure cost management, security compliance, and resource optimization within the cloud environment.
- Proficient in implementing cloud security strategies, including the use of tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection.
- Interpersonal & Leadership Skills: A strong analytical mindset for evaluating complex IT application landscapes and optimizing development processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture to guide strategic decisions and innovations.
- Industry Experience: Strong experience in either the banking or energy sector, demonstrating a proven track record in major projects and innovations within one of these industries.
