Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented DevOps engineer to oversee and maintain our Kubernetes-based infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, and collaborating with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Cloud-Native Infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management.
- Manage and Optimize Kubernetes Clusters
- Deploy and manage Helm charts for various applications.
- Implement and manage GitOps workflows using kustomize and ArgoCD for microservice deployments.
- Collaborate with Development Teams
- Work closely with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems for all our systems using Prometheus, Graylog, Tempo, and Grafana.
- Database Operations
- Manage and optimize database operations for MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Industry Best Practices
- Provide insights from industry best practices when necessary.
- Fluent Spoken and Written English
- Excellent Knowledge of Ubuntu and Unix-Based Operating Systems
- Confidence Working with the LEMP Stack (Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP)
- Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms and Services
- Familiarity with Versioning Software (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab)
- Familiarity with Python or Other Programming Languages
- Familiarity with Autoscalers like KEDA
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and Knowledge on How to Administer and Manage These Tools
- Working Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Good Documentation Skills
- Enthusiasm and a Strong Appetite for Learning
