Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect to join our team at Zurich Insurance Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our IT architecture strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the architecture agenda and establishing design authorities for complex projects and programs.
  • Driving the integration of our IT landscape and ensuring scalability, performance, and security in architecture designs.
  • Signing the IT roadmap and assessing new technologies to determine their fit for the organization.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and translating business objectives into clearly defined business cases.
  • Coordinating IT budget planning cycles and collaborating with the strategy office.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Deep knowledge of IT architecture principles, including enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and technical architecture.
    • Experience with cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
    • Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor architecture teams.
    • Ability to inspire and drive change within the organization.
  • Experience
    • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5-10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3-5 years in managing large-scale IT projects and programs.
