Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

OCA Global is a leading private equity group with a global presence, dedicated to inspection, certification, testing, consulting, and training services.

The Consulting and Technical Advisory division of OCA Global provides interdisciplinary technical advisory services to support public administrations, banks, investment funds, project developers, industrial, and service companies in their transition towards a climate change resilient, sustainable, and decarbonized society and economy.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager of the Consulting and Engineering Division and will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing electrical engineering expertise for power plants, including conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering development for solar PV/CSP, wind, hydro, PtX, Battery Storage (BESS), and other renewable technologies.
  • Technical support in all project phases: project development, engineering design/review, construction, and commissioning, as part of the owners' engineer and technical advisory team.
  • Engineering review, including technical revision and approval of the main project design engineering documentation (Owner's Engineering).
  • Technical Due Diligence and Lender Technical Advisor reports, technology evaluation, Operation & Maintenance, etc.
  • Technical support to the business development team.
Requirements:
  • MSC in Electrical Engineering.
  • MSC in Renewable Energy would be favorably considered.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar positions.
  • Experience in EMEA and LATAM regions are a valuable factor.
  • English and Spanish: Native or full professional proficiency.
  • French and/or Arabic would be favorably considered.
