About the Role

PEAK Wind is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to support the financial management of a portfolio of onshore wind farms in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering financial transparency and maximizing value creation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting functions, including general ledger, journal entries, and accounting systems
  • Prepare quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for all entities in the portfolio
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
  • Lead the annual audit process for all entities in the portfolio
  • Drive the overall accounts payable and accounts receivable process, including month-end reconciliation with bank statements
  • Develop financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Be responsible for fixed assets and treasury management

Requirements

  • Strong accounting background with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration
  • Experience with Spanish GAAP and multiple accounting systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally
  • Outgoing and team-oriented mindset
