The RoleThe Push Gaming platform is responsible for distributing our games and gaming products to a global audience, managing millions of transactions per day. It is a multi-cloud collection of different systems utilizing common open-source technology stacks and both microservice and event-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of solution architects working as part of multi-functional teams.
- Ensure that our system and software architecture is robust, scalable, and in line with industry best practices.
- Work with stakeholders from product, commercial, legal, and compliance to implement technical solutions to meet the demands of the business.
- Drive good architectural practices throughout our technical teams.
- Strong experience with at least 3 years in an architectural role.
- Recruiting and managing technical teams.
- Creation of clear and concise architectural documentation and diagrams.
- Software quality models such as ISO / IEC.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing complex cloud-based IT systems covering both transaction processing and data domains using microservices and event-driven patterns.
- Cloud platforms and services such as AWS or GCP.
- Kubernetes or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Relational and NoSQL data stores.
- High performance scalable transactional systems.
- Information security and management in cloud-based systems.
- Incorporating business continuity and disaster recovery planning into software architecture.
