At Siemens Mobility, we are seeking a highly skilled System Assurance Technical Manager (RAMS) to join our team. As a leader in transport solutions, we are constantly innovating our portfolio in rolling stock, rail automation, and electrification.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead System Assurance and Validation and Verification activities for assigned Main Line projects.
- Ensure that technical solutions and processes applied within the projects are fit for the applicable regulations.
- Collaborate in the preparation of the integration strategy, leading to the final validation of the solutions.
- Coordinate assurance activities and serve as a superior contact person, both internally and externally.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical/electronic engineering with railways specific specialization.
- Experience in Rail Signaling business, with good knowledge of MT signaling solutions (ETCS L1, ETCS L2, Core Signaling principles).
- Experience as RAMS engineer and deep knowledge of CENELEC standards for RAMS EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159.
- Knowledge of EU directives like UE 402/2013 and hands-on experience in Hazards Management and identification, SIL and THR ratings.
- Hands-on experience in performing RAMS studies like FMEA, FMECA, FTAs and management and identification of applications conditions and its impact on the safety and operation of systems.
- Experience in Requirements Management, traceability, and validation.
- Hands-on experience as tester or equivalent.
- Strong self-motivated person with a natural focus on customer needs without sacrificing project KPIs.
- Perfect communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent team player.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Readiness for travel.
