Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our Global Finance services and Controlling applications Team. The position is located in Madrid, Spain, with reporting lines to Basel, Switzerland.
About the Role
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will work closely with your colleagues in a small and agile team to ensure smooth rollouts, implementation, and optimization of our Finance services and Controlling applications (e.g., SAP modules FI/CO and other relevant products). You will work independently and hands-on in projects, subprojects, and take on support tasks within the Finance and Controlling environment. Your tasks will include defining and implementing new business processes, optimizing existing processes, and providing exemplary support for complex tasks. You will also participate in our financial and system transformation to S/4 Hana.
Main Responsibilities
• Definition and implementation of new business processes
• Optimization of existing processes
• Contact person for users to provide support for complex tasks
• Analysis of requirements to create concepts and implement in systems
• Participation and leadership of projects for the implementation of SAP in international subsidiaries throughout the project lifecycle
• Support in the transition to S/4
• Coordination with external suppliers for consulting and support services
Requirements
• Sound knowledge of business management and technical SAP knowledge, especially in modules FI and CO (+5 years of experience)
• At least 1 end-to-end project for the roll-out of FI/CO in a company (concept, implementation, testing, training, hyper care)
• Experience with S/4 HANA (ideally as part of a migration project) is a must
• Additional knowledge of SD and MM interfaces is an advantage
• High customer-orientation, good team skills, and independent work
• Analytical and connected way of thinking, high resilience, and readiness to learn
• Fluency in English (spoken and written). Any other language skill is a plus
• Willingness to occasionally travel (5-10%)
