Job Description

Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly motivated and innovative professional to join our Corporate Communications team in Spain. As a Scientific Communications Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Iberian business by driving corporate reputation through the communication of innovation and sustainability, risk management, and reporting of actions under the supervision of the Communications Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute innovations and sustainability communication plans for P&G in Spain and Portugal.
  • Help build company reputation through the delivery of science-based content and company messages behind our actions leveraging P&G owned channels and social media.
  • Provide technical expertise (sustainability) into joint business plans required for retailer brands.
  • Partner with governance functions on sustainability themes to provide consultation as required based on local organization data, non-financial disclosure report, and global data.
  • Provide support to sustainability queries/consultations from press/media key stakeholders and other functions such as Brand teams, plant managers, Human Resources, and in some cases the press.
  • Help support the business through risk and crisis communications management related to Corporate Sci-com teams and sustainability.
  • Partner with GPS (Global Product Stewardship), Risk Management, and Scientific Communications (Sci Comm) across Europe and Global.
  • Help manage relationship with innovation and environmental sustainability stakeholders (NGOs, academy, independent parties - associations, environmental institutions, and other stakeholders).
  • Use your collaboration skills to help develop stronger programs with external organizations (such as ECOEMBES/Libera, Apadrina un Olivo) for volunteering opportunities for employees.
  • Apply to innovation and sustainability awards.
Requirements
  • University diploma or about to obtain diploma (e.g. PhD/M.Sc./B.Sc. in bioscience, chemical engineering, environmental science, or environmental engineer).
  • Experience and knowledge in multinational work in sustainability is an advantage.
  • Perfect command of Spanish and English language, and ideally Portuguese.
