About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal UX Designer to join our team at King. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for crafting immersive and intuitive user experiences that delight millions of players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our players and their needs, using this knowledge to inform design decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, and engineers, to ensure that UX design principles are integrated into all aspects of game development.
  • Design and implement user-centered solutions that meet the needs of our players, while also driving business growth and revenue.
  • Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our design processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills and expertise.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality UX designs that drive business outcomes and improve player engagement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the gaming industry, with a strong understanding of game development processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
