Automotive Cybersecurity Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UNECE regulations R155 and R156, and for implementing cybersecurity strategies tailored to the needs of our OEM partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with UNECE regulations R155 and R156
  • Act as the primary cybersecurity liaison at OEM facilities, providing on-site support and expertise
  • Support the implementation of cybersecurity strategies tailored to OEM needs and regulatory requirements
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with automotive systems and components
  • Lead incident response, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting, while coordinating with OEM teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated into all stages of product development
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness measures to enhance skills among OEM staff
  • Support regular cybersecurity audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle internal communication networks and control units
  • Knowledge of ISO21434, UNECE regulations R155 and R156, and other relevant automotive cybersecurity and Functional Safety standards
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO21434, ISO26262, or similar are highly desirable
