Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Electrodynamics
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Quantum Flagship. The successful candidate will be part of our Quantum NanoElectronics and NanoMechanics group, led by Prof. Dr. Adrian Bachtold, and will be working on a project focused on Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) with correlated electrons.
About the Project
The project involves the study of nano-electronic and nano-optical phenomena in quantum and moiré materials and devices. We will use photon modes with large quantum fluctuations to amplify the electron-photon coupling to a level where correlated electron states in two-dimensional devices can be modified.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on QED with correlated electrons
- Develop and implement new experimental techniques for studying quantum and moiré materials
- Collaborate with the research group to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Physics or a related field
- Proven track record in two-dimensional materials and low-temperature transport measurements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
