Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor at Quezon Poultry And Livestock Corporation plays a crucial role in overseeing accounting activities, ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, and maintaining the general ledger. This position requires a professional with at least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong background in financial analysis and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting practices, including accounts receivable and cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements, inventory, and month-end closing accounting activities. They will also be knowledgeable in preparing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and generating financial reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role involves collaborating with the operating department in preparing budgets, ensuring compliance with BIR rules and regulations, and working closely with team members to achieve financial goals. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent critical thinking skills, able to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting activities, including accounts receivable and cash receipts, accounts payable, cash disbursements, inventory, and month-end closing accounting activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare for the year-end audit and ensure compliance with BIR rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with the operating department in preparing budgets and financial reports.
• Work closely with team members to achieve financial goals and objectives.
