Job Summary:

The Young Adult Director will serve as a key leader in developing and implementing a comprehensive ministry to young adults at Reformed Theological Seminary. This role will oversee the growth and development of young adult ministry, creating opportunities for spiritual growth, relational connections, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for young adult ministry, aligning with the seminary's mission and vision.
  • Oversee the growth and development of young adult programs, events, and initiatives, ensuring a high level of engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with the pastoral team to integrate young adult ministry into the overall church strategy, ensuring a seamless and effective approach.
  • Recruit, train, and equip volunteers and staff to support young adult ministry, fostering a culture of servant-leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with young adults, providing pastoral care, guidance, and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of young adult ministry, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young adults.
  • Experience in young adult ministry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the pastoral team, staff, and volunteers.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Passion for discipleship, leadership development, and community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as ministry, theology, or education.
  • Experience in a seminary or theological education setting.
  • Knowledge of young adult culture and trends.
