Join Siemens, S. A. as a Senior IT Expert for Customs and Export Control
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Expert for Customs and Export Control. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing business-specific, mission-critical IT solutions, services, and platforms for customs and export control processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement IT Solutions: You will be responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions, services, and platforms for customs and export control processes, with a focus on end-to-end optimization and digitalization.
- Collaborate with Governance Departments: You will work closely with governance departments in Germany and across the globe to ensure seamless integration of customs and export control processes.
- Drive Digitalization: You will be responsible for bringing customs and export control processes to the next level of digitalization, leveraging your expertise in IT project and service management, as well as your knowledge of SAP GTS.
- Design and Implement Processes: You will design and implement customs and export control processes with SAP GTS, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Provide Expertise: You will serve as a trusted partner and key contact for governance departments, business entities, and regions across the globe, providing expertise and guidance on customs and export control processes.
- University Degree: You must have a university degree in computer science or business administration.
- IT Project and Service Management Expertise: You must have long-standing IT project and service management expertise based on an agile approach and an agile way of working.
- Customs and Export Control Experience: You must have a solid background and many years of experience in end-to-end customs and export control processes with SAP GTS.
- Knowledge of Neighboring Areas: You must have a solid understanding of neighboring areas, such as logistics, supply chain management, tax, and finance, as well as the respective processes.
- Process and Data Flow Expertise: You must have excellent process and data flow know-how, with a deep understanding of the underlying data models and data sources relevant for customs and export control.
