GDS Modellica, a leading decision management software company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our Technical Operations Department. Our company provides innovative solutions to help organizations make better business decisions and manage risk.
Job Summary:We are looking for a talented individual to provide ongoing maintenance and administration of our Cloud infrastructure, as well as support for our local office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, AWS experience, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide system administration and maintenance support on Windows and Linux-based environments.
- Ensure server and application compliance with security and performance requirements.
- Work closely with the Delivery team providing technical project support, including hardware and software requirements, IT infrastructure design, and installation and configuration of GDS Modellica applications.
- Perform technical trainings to clients and act as a link between the Delivery team and Product Development Department.
- Assist the Sales team with the technical aspects in the preparation of offers and presentations.
- Provide first-class support to our clients post-delivery.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- 3+ years' experience as System Administrator (Linux) and/or Support Technician.
- Minimum 2 years of documented experience with Amazon AWS.
- BS, MS, or PhD in a Science-related field.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to go above and beyond to meet deliverables.
- Strong service attitude and initiative to investigate technical issues.
