Research Director

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Research Director to lead our evidence synthesis efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systematic literature reviews, directing project teams, and evaluating evidence bases.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Systematic Literature Reviews: Develop and execute comprehensive literature reviews to inform clinical trials and research studies.
- Lead Project Teams: Direct and oversee project teams to ensure successful execution of research projects.
- Evaluate Evidence Bases: Assess the feasibility of indirect treatment comparison analyses and develop study protocols and analysis plans.
- Conceptualize Advanced Study Designs: Collaborate with statisticians to design and develop innovative study designs and protocols.
- Oversee Conduct of ITC Analyses: Manage the execution of indirect treatment comparison analyses and interpret findings.
- Lead Client Interactions: Provide strategic consultation and advice to clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
- Manage Project Budgets and Deliverables: Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of project results.
- Participate in Business Development: Contribute to proposal review, kick-off meetings, and bid defense meetings to drive business growth.
- Support Sales Efforts: Leverage methodological expertise to support sales initiatives and drive revenue growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, public health).
- Proven experience in evidence synthesis, clinical trials, and research methodology.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
