Job Summary: As an Avionic Technician at Textron Aviation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our aircraft. You will be responsible for identifying and correcting malfunctioning jet, turboprop, and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform annual and progressive inspections, as well as modification work, on customer aircraft to ensure they are airworthy and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex aircraft systems, including engines, mechanical systems, and components, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, and alignment to ensure aircraft systems are functioning properly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as rigging, synchronizing of throttles, and setting stops, to maintain aircraft performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in aircraft systems, including engines, mechanical systems, and components, to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid EASA B2 license, preferably with Textron Aviation models type ratings endorsed.
  • Have a strong understanding of aircraft systems, including engines, mechanical systems, and components.
  • Be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
