Senior Product Manager, Video API

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced product leader with a strong background in WebRTC to join our team at Vonage. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of the new developer onboarding experience for the Vonage Video API.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy to drive adoption and growth of the Vonage Video API.
- Work closely with new users to understand their needs and develop product offerings that are easy to adopt and grow platform value.
- Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to translate customer needs into product requirements and user stories.
- Advocate internally for Video API user needs, especially in conjunction with other CPaaS APIs.
- Lead global cross-functional teams to execute on vision and strategy.
- Perform industry and competitive analysis to identify trends, portfolio gaps, and new product opportunities.
- Define key metrics to evaluate product performance, analyze data, inform product decisions, and measure success.
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager delivering client or cloud-based platform products and features (SaaS or PaaS).
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, customers, and executives.
- Action-oriented with the ability to leverage collaboration skills and initiative to get things done.
- Candidate must be able to manage relationships across groups.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Experience identifying success metrics and analyzing data.
- Technical background in APIs & SDKs using WebRTC is expected.
- Technical software development background with the ability to prototype using the product APIs.
- Background in building real-time video or voice-based customer experiences.
- Background working with telecommunications is a plus.
- Background or experience in machine learning is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
