Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our Translational Data Science team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data science and computational biology, with a proven track record of designing and deploying data products that drive business value. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data operations, IT, and laboratory scientists, to deliver high-quality data products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Data Operations to optimize data ingestion pipelines and workflow efficiencies for laboratory scientists.
- Contribute to the development of data products that are reproducible and adhere to FAIR data principles.
- Partner with IT to ensure data backup and redundancy.
- Evaluate and enable tools for automated analysis, such as flow cytometry gating.
- Develop automated data visualizations for lab scientists.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or data-related field (e.g. computer science, biology, mathematics).
- Strong background in data science and computational biology.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying data products that drive business value.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
