Global Credit and Risk Management Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Credit and Litigation Manager to join our team at Reconocida Empresa. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our global and regional credit policy in collaboration with Operations, Commercial Finance, and the Global O2C director.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement processes related to credit and litigation management to support our global and regional credit policy.
- Enforce and monitor adherence to our global and regional credit policy and designed processes in all subsidiaries to accepted standards.
- Provide visibility and report on credit risk and litigation at the global level.
- Support the minimization of bad debt and write-off while fostering business development.
- Ensure credit risk and litigation data reporting relevance and accuracy.
- Manage a team of 5-10 people (local and remote) in charge of assessing, monitoring, and reviewing client credit risk profile and credit limit in accordance with SLA.
- Propose risk mitigation solutions to support business.
- Manage pre-litigation and litigation proceedings to collect debt.
- Report on credit risk and litigation.
- Manage relationships and contracts with credit and litigation suppliers, including credit bureaus.
- Interface with top management level for global risk.
- Chair the global credit committee and support regional committees when needed.
- Collaborate on global O2C projects for your area of expertise (Credit management and Litigation).
- Monitor and achieve annual personal and team objectives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management and/or litigation.
- Degree in Economy/Business Administration/Finance.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and financial analysis skills.
- Understanding of the whole OTC process, legal, and contractual scope.
- Previous experience in a similar managerial role.
- Proactive, dynamic, organized, and methodical approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as negotiation skills.
- Fluent and professional English is a must; any other European language is highly valued.
