Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily administration of payroll, including processing bi-weekly payrolls for multiple companies in various states.
- Calculate and monitor wages, holiday pay, and other pay components to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Prepare and review payrolls according to established deadlines, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Submit ACH payments as needed and provide reports to management, finance, and HR as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and maintain professional knowledge and technical skills.
- Act as an ambassador for Fagron's values and culture.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a payroll specialist in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience processing multi-state payrolls and knowledge of state and unemployment taxes.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook and Excel) and experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational ability, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
