About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Solutions Architect to join our team at Databricks Inc. in Madrid. As a key member of our Field Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption and growth of our Data Intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales and field engineering teams to drive customer success and growth.
  • Develop and execute technical account strategies to accelerate the adoption of Databricks workloads.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers, ensuring successful onboarding and enablement.
  • Navigate complex technical issues and escalate to expert-level technical experts as needed.
  • Develop and execute execution plans to cover key work streams and customer-facing technical roles.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project or program delivery within the domain of Data and AI.
  • Programming experience in a core language (i.e. one of Python, SQL, Scala, Spark).
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of solution architecture related distributed data systems.
  • Technical program or project management experience, including account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
  • Experience resolving complex and important escalations with senior customer executives.
  • Business proficiency in Spanish is required as a minimum.
