Job Summary

We are seeking a talented VFX/Technical Artist to join our Games division on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will lead in artistic and technical skills to enrich our games' art, animations, UI/UX, game feel, and player experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality VFX for mobile games, including stylized effects, animations, and particle systems.
  • Establish and optimize VFX pipelines for efficient use on mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with 2D artists, animators, and programmers to integrate assets and animations in Unity.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Unity, Unity's shader graph, rendering pipeline, particle system, materials creation processes, and other VFX tools.
  • Excellent sense of form, art style, color, timing, and composition for mobile games.
  • Curiosity and knowledge of all areas of game development.
  • Ability to develop creative and efficient solutions to VFX, artistic, technical, and UX challenges.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical background in computer science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with C# scripting and 2D animation.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Familiarity with the video games, mobile games, and animation industries.
  • Sensitivity and interest in art, animation, music, design, and related disciplines.
