Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and transactions meet all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding Ebury's Reputation: Conduct thorough anti-financial crime checks to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery, corruption, fraud, sanctions risk, tax evasion, and reputational risk.
  • Comprehensive Client Onboarding: Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, including CDD and EDD checks for corporate clients, identification of complex ownership structures, financial statements, and transaction patterns.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clients, sales teams, and compliance departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and effective risk management.
  • Decision-Making and Risk Assessment: Make informed decisions to onboard or reject applications, identifying potential red flags and escalating concerns to senior management as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding process and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
