Clinical Researcher Position

Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution that promotes and develops biomedical research, innovation, and teaching at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital. Our research focuses on identifying and applying new solutions to health problems, contributing to their dissemination worldwide.

We are seeking a Clinical Researcher to join our Infectious Disease Department in the Medicine Tropical Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine and experience in scientific environments.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the on-field part of research projects
  • Support assistance activities in a rural African hospital
  • Collaborate with local and national authorities to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Graduate in Medicine
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position in a scientific environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
What We Offer
  • Full-time position with 40 hours/week
  • Based in Cubal, Angola, rural municipality in Benguela province
  • Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities (one-year project)
