We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter Specialist to join our team at Iqtalent. As a key member of our safety and security team, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations and providing critical support to our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations involving fire, hazardous materials, accidents, sabotage, and natural disasters. Provide critical support to our operations and ensure the safety of our personnel and assets.
- Fire Prevention and Inspection: Conduct regular fire prevention inspections and pre-fire planning risk assessments to identify potential hazards and prevent fires.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on firefighting equipment, including structural firefighting vehicles, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting vehicles, and Mobile Water Supply Apparatus.
- Emergency Medical Response: Provide basic first aid, CPR, and use automated external defibrillator (AED) at medical emergencies.
- Hazardous Materials Response: Respond to hazardous material incidents and take action to protect nearby persons, the environment, or property from the effects of the release.
- Training and Development: Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in emergency response, fire prevention, and equipment operation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration in emergency situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
