Position Title
Maintenance Engineer (reporting to the Site Director with a collaborative relationship with the Maintenance Manager)
Objective
Ensure that maintenance department processes are executed in alignment with updated standards following the SAP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize Health & Safety at all times by fostering a culture of safe practices and leadership.
- Generate Work Orders, allocate planned maintenance hours, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Validate and finalize time worked, ensuring proper closure of work orders.
- Solicit quotes from vendors for maintenance-related purchases.
- Initiate purchase requests for spare parts and general maintenance supplies.
- Oversee the reception and assessment of maintenance orders.
- Manage inventory effectively.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning activities and during maintenance shutdowns.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager regarding spare parts requirements and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Desire to advance a career in the field, preferably in maintenance or production.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP is highly regarded
- Commitment to safety practices
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
