User Experience Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Expert to join our team at Roche. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing UX strategies for large complex solutions, ensuring a functional, usable, and enjoyable experience for users that achieves the desired business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance in user needs-based design, design research, design thinking, and service design to senior stakeholders and product owners.
- Leverage your UX skills to drive our Product roadmaps and lifecycles by completing UX audits, conducting user research, and conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
- Ensure design consistency and integrity across products and projects, and advocate for usage of Design Systems as appropriate.
- Stay on top of new trends in usability, accessibility, UX design, UX Research and/or Service Design, and mentor colleagues on these topics.
- Be our HCD ambassador to the Madrid site, helping to co-create our HCD strategy with globally dispersed colleagues and drive awareness and share expertise on how Human Centered Design can improve our products and solutions.
- 6+ years of UX design experience, with at least 2 years of experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
- Expertise in standard UX software, preferably Figma.
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet business needs and vision.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Expert in user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Knowledge of a variety of workshop methods (e.g. Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Customer Journey Mapping).
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients, including senior leaders.
- English C1/C2 level.
