About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Glaxosmithkline. As a key member of our Commercial Business Units, you will play a critical role in providing business insights to support our business goals, strategies, and tactics.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to Commercial and Finance stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Support the development of medium- to long-range strategic plans, identifying internal and external strategic issues and opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing and Finance teams to develop brand forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure common volume numbers are used in demand/supply planning and financial forecasting.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of data solutions and initiatives, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and actionable.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
- Prior working experience in business insights or analytics role, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical business.
- Ability to translate advanced analytic solutions into business contexts and vice versa, adding business value through data insights and analysis.
- Experience in reporting tools (Power BI) or other analytics tools.
