About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team at Clarivate in Barcelona, Cambridge, or London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Dialog, a Clarivate crown-jewel search and alerting application that utilizes peer-reviewed patent and journal content to help its customers make strategic business and research development decisions.

About You
  • At least 2 years of experience in automation software.
  • Project experience with Python or Java (strong experience in any language is desirable).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related degree or at least 3 years of equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile product methodology is desirable.
  • It would be great if you also had:
  • Selenium IDE
  • LoadRunner
  • Postman or API testing tool
  • Jmeter
  • JIRA project management tool experience
Key Responsibilities
  1. Automate and validate product features using existing Robot framework backed by Python.
  2. Assist with manual testing.
  3. Support Developers team members to find vulnerabilities or defects.
  4. Assist team members when required.
About the Team

The core squad working on the project is currently formed of 9 colleagues (comprising product owners, developers, and QA), with support from solutions analysts, architects, and DevOps - based worldwide in locations encompassing USA, UK, and Spain.
