About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our AWS EMEA SARL (Spain Branch) - G84 team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region. You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services
  • Drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities
  • Identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue

The WWSO EAMM team positions AWS as the best place to run SAP Applications workloads. Our team helps customers migrate SAP workloads to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential.

Requirements
  • Foundational understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture
  • Strong ability to understand complex sales plays and determine how to apply a customer's specific use case
  • Experience with technical business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and program/product management
  • Industry experience with SAP (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics)
Preferred Qualifications
  • College/university degree and AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  • In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture
  • Excellent business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
