About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Biostatistician to lead our biostatistics team and provide expert statistical consultancy across the stats function. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with sponsors, study teams, programmers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the statistics support to one or more projects/sponsor programs of work, ensuring that needs are fully met by expert and timely statistical consultancy and support.
  • Lead the development of statistical design and analysis policies, and provide expert consultancy across the stats function.
  • Work directly with the sponsor, study team, programmers, and others to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials.
  • Provide statistical leadership to projects within clinical research, ensuring that studies are designed and analyzed in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with external groups, such as Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs) and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be computer literate and numerate with a proven ability to adapt to various computer systems.
  • Hands-on expert level project statistician experienced in providing statistical leadership to projects within clinical research.
  • Expert in a broad range of statistical applications across all phases (I to IV) of Clinical Research with a thorough knowledge of regulatory standards, SAS, and other software applications.
  • Minimum of an MSc in Statistics.
  • Experience of guiding/mentoring other statisticians.
  • Previous experience of leading studies as a Statistician within clinical research.
