Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at BASF SE. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing security remediation-related services and support to meet the latest compliance and organizational security governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security remediation services and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational security policies.
  • Consult with stakeholders to enforce remediation measures and serve as a liaison between the Cyber Security Defense Center and IT Operations Unit.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lessons learned topics as part of post-incident investigations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the remediation service for maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide compliance reporting and analysis, including conducting security, system, and business impact assessments.
  • Closely collaborate with the Security Governance, Risk Management Team, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in vulnerability management/incident remediation or other relevant cybersecurity fields.
  • Ability to work independently in a multinational/global team and bring a structured, analytical, quality-focused approach.
  • Completed a subject-related university/technical college degree in (business) informatics or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through many years of relevant professional experience and further training.
  • Proof of recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA.
  • Practice in information security management and knowledge of relevant norms and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to align and communicate with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Outstanding language skills in English.
